Shay Hancock

Shay Hancock is a Senior Partner at Crossroads Strategies, LLC.  Shay works with clients in the Energy and Environment, Health Care, Transportation, National Security, Technology, Tribal, and State and Local Government sectors, providing strategic advice on working with Members of Congress and the Administration.

Shay has more than 25 years of experience working with organizations impacted by the federal government.  During his tenure on Capitol Hill, Shay served as a Legislative Assistant to Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), currently the third ranking member of the Senate Democrat leadership, senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee and Chair of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee; and Representative Adam Smith (D-WA), currently the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee.

His corporate experience provides the background necessary to help our clients find opportunities or avoid pitfalls that are bound to impact their business.  In addition to his time as a Vice President of a Fortune 100 company, Shay has served in several capacities for well-established government relations consulting firms.

A native of “the other Washington”, Shay received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Economics from the University of Washington in Seattle.
