Marc Numedahl

Executive Vice President

Marc Numedahl is an Executive Vice President at Crossroads Strategies, LLC. Marc advocates for clients in the National Security industry, providing strategic advice on federal procurement, defense, veterans, homeland security and intelligence community policy and programs.

Prior to joining Crossroads Strategies, Marc served as Legislative Director to Congressman Dave Loebsack (D-IA), who served on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Armed Services Committee.  In this role Marc provided strategic guidance and advice to the Congressman on legislative matters pertaining to national security, telecommunications, trade and commerce.

Marc also served as the Military Legislative Assistant to Congressman Rick Larsen (D-WA), a senior member on the House Armed Services Committee. In this role he supported the Congressman’s responsibilities on the Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee and the Strategic Forces Subcommittee. Marc was the primary staff lead for the Congressman’s efforts on the House Armed Services Committee’s Panel on Challenges to Doing Business with the Department of Defense. Marc was also the Democrat staff lead for the House U.S.-China Working Group, assisting Members of Congress to better understand the various political and policy issues that make up the U.S.-China relationship.

Before working on the Hill, Marc served as Special Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy, the principal advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics on all matters relating to the defense industrial base, including industrial capabilities and assessments; defense industry mergers, acquisitions and consolidation; preservation of essential industries and technologies; and other related matters.

Marc holds a master’s degree in National Security Studies from the School of Public Policy at George Mason University. He received Bachelor of Art degrees in Political Science and Religious Studies from Wartburg College. He has also taken numerous classes from the Defense Acquisition University focusing on government contracting, federal budgeting and acquisition policy.

Marc lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Michelle Dominguez, and son, William.
