“FIRST IN PI … JAKE PERRY, CROSSROADS TO MERGE: Crossroads Strategies announced Wednesday that lobbyist Jake Perry would be merging his firm Jake Perry + Partners with Crossroads in June. Perry is a prominent Democratic strategist with more than a decade of Washington experience and deep ties to Senate Democrats. He’s a former top adviser and fundraiser to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and he later helped co-found the Democratic super PAC Senate Majority PAC. Perry left Reid’s orbit in early 2013 to hang a shingle with Jake Perry + Partners. As of the first quarter of 2014, he has five clients and about $140,000 in billings in that quarter. “Jake brings strategic vision with a proven ability as a top advocator within the Senate Democratic Caucus as well as tested experience as a political operative,” Crossroads Strategies co-founder Stewart Hall said in a statement. Crossroads Strategies has no connection to the fundraising network founded by Karl Rove.”
